FAQs

Our most commonly asked questions, answered below!

We require a minimum of 24 pieces to be ordered.

Within these 24 pieces the design must stay the same on all 24 shirts including print size, ink colors, etc..

However, you may mix and match garment colors & garment styles within this 24 minimum.

Our turn around time varies on the season, typically our turn around time is 7-10 business days after payment is made on an order.

In some cases our turn around time could be more or less than standard typical turn around time.

We can sometimes offer rush services depending on our workload!

Please contact us regarding rush orders so we can try to accomodate you.

Rush order prices are as follows:

  • 4 day turn around time: 25% of total invoice amount.
  • 3 day turn around time: 50% of total invoice amount.
  • 2 day turn around time: 75% of total invoice amount.
  • 1 day turn around time: 100% of total invoice amount.

There is a lot that goes into a rush order so please make sure you have all of your order details and artwork ready to go so the process goes smoothly.

We charge $1 per "X".

For example:

  • 2XL: $2 extra
  • 3XL: $3 extra
  • 4XL: $4 extra
  • 5XL: $5 extra

We do allow customers to provide their own garments!

If you are providing garments that do not look similar to what we have on our website please contact us so we can ensure we are able to print on the garments.

If items are individually bagged or have stickers/tags on them when provided to DFW INK there will be an unbagging/handling fee.

On average is costs $20, this is for a simple redraw for one design (one print location). Prices can go up to approxiametly $150 depending on the complexity and how many different pieces of designs you have!

The artwork that you provide us with plays a major role in how your shirts will turn out when printed, quality is key so please take our advice when it comes to artwork!

We prefer that the artwork be sent to us in the following formats:

  • .eps
  • .cdr
  • .pdf

In some cases we accept the following formats for digital squeegee prints (artwork with extreme detail or artwork that has a high color amount):

  • .png
  • .jpeg
  • .psd

*Please note that your artwork may be in the above listed formats but may not be PRINT READY.  We will let you know if the file is print ready or not once the file has been submitted!*

We do offer volume discounts, the more shirts you order the cheaper it will be per shirt! The design will just need to stay the same consistency on all shirts to receive volume discounts.

Artwork created by you for your order will remain your property and will be kept in a file at our store for our exclusive use only for executing your orders.

We promise we will not be using your artwork for our own personal uses & if need be we can create a contract!

Screenprinting uses squeegees to push ink through mesh. This mesh comes in different thread counts. The higher the thread count, the less ink that is able to go through the screen, but higher detail can be achieved with higher mesh counts. The digital squeegee is considered to be “Hybrid” printing. This is because it uses the screenprinting technique to lay down a white underbase, then a digital CMYK print head sprays the image onto the underbase.
